பார்த்திபன் கனவு

சோழ நாடு, பல்லவ நாடு, காவேரி, நரசிம்ம பல்லவர், சிவனடியார், விக்ரமன், குந்தவி, பொன்னன்… மறக்க முடியாத பாத்திரங்கள். சோழ வளம், பல்லவ ஆட்சி பற்றிய வர்ணனைகள், படிக்க படிக்க திகட்டாதவை. கல்கியின் சிறந்த படைப்புகளில் ஒன்று. நீண்ட நாட்களுக்கு பின் கல்கியின் பார்த்திபன் கனவு படித்து முடித்தேன்.

மன்னி, கல்கியின் புத்தகங்கள் படிக்க வேண்டும் என ஆசை பட்டதால் பொன்னியின் செல்வன், அலைஓசை மற்றும் பார்த்திபன் கனவு அனைத்து பாகங்களையும் 2007ல் வாங்கினேன். மன்னி காலமாவதற்கு முன் எல்லா புத்தகங்களையும் படித்து விட்டார்.

நேரமின்மை (??) காரணத்தால் இதுவரை படிக்காமல் இருந்தேன். இப்போது படிக்க ஆரம்பித்து விட்டேன்.  இனி மீதி புத்தகங்களையும் படித்து முடித்து விடுவேன்.

சீத்தாங்கோல்

சிறு வயதில் காலில்  எச்சில் அல்லது சாணம் பட்டு விட்டால் சீத்தாங்கோல் என்று சொல்லுவார்கள்.

That person will become “untouchable” among friends till the time he become “Pure”.  Friends will start teasing him/her as சீத்தாங்கோலி என்ன தொட்டால் பாவம்.

To become “Pure”, there is a well defined way.  That particular person has to touch 7 people.  By touching other person, the other person can be infected.  To avoid such infection, again there are certain ways.

1.  Other person can keep his thumb between his middle and ring finger so that infection will not pass on

2.  Other person can hold / touch Green colour while the infected person touches him.  Green will prevent infection

Even if the infected person touches any person who safe guarded himself in any one of the above method, it will not be counted for the 7 person required for purification.

Lastly, even if 7 people were not available to touch after struggle, the infected person can get himself satisfied by saying நாக்கை தொட்டால் 4 பேர் மூக்கை தொட்டால் 3 பேர் ஆக மொத்தம் 7 பேர்  and touching his own tongue & nose !!! 

He will become "Pure" and can join with friends.
